Love!

Are you a chiropractor person? I totally am! I'm not talking the crack your neck kind, I'm talking the machine manipulation kind. I've been a patient at Brimhall Wellness Center for over 6 years. At times I go more often than others, depending what is going on.

Well I always have this spot in my low back (S2 to be exact) that is really good at holding in aching pain. It comes and goes yet is never welcome. Anyhow today I did 'decompression' again for my lower back. If you have never had it, I HIGHLY recommend it!
You lay on the table, they strap you under your chest and around your hips. There's a traction cord as shown ha ha and it pulls your hips down in like 3o second intervals and then releases it for 10 (or whatever settings they put it on). At first I was nervous but let me tell you I give it 5 stars! I can't believe the pressure relief that I get every time I use it!

So basically what I'm saying - GO DO IT!

Happy New Year!

Welcome 2011! Hoping everyone had a save night last night welcoming in the new year.

For me, I spent it with great friend/neighbors who were snuggled up in a "Skanket" (I believe it was called) you know, a blanket with sleeves. I'm pretty sure they were trying to 'one up' the Snuggie, which is a terrible name for a blanket by the way.

No this isn't a Slanket review, it is a New Year's Review. Now honestly, what is the big deal? I mean it's great to welcome in the new year, changes, refresh, off with the old on with the new - however is it really necessary for the hu-bub surrounding it. How many millions of dollars were spent in each big city across our great country and even the world on this event? Maybe this is the "OLD" in me coming out but I KNOW there are much more important things than making a ball, out of Waterford crystal to 'drop' at Midnight.

Anyhow we had a great time eating In n Out at 10:PM (ew!?), making fun of each other, chatting and catching up with Christmas Vacay stories - and trying to wake their kids up to watch the event...the ball drop! We yelled HAPPY NEW YEAR and watched some of the performers on TV and decided that parties were fun but it sure was nice to walk right back across the street to go to bed at 12:15! :)

Happy New Year, may it be Merry, Prosperous and your personal best!
